Receiving the power of salvation – as a pattern

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past day, we meditated regarding what the blessings of goodness are and how we should receive it. The blessings that are vain will not remain, if we will believe them then it can result in our soul perishing and we meditated regarding this. Also, we must not be fooled by men and not be deceived by the devil but we must safeguard our soul and our inner man should be in the image of Christ and attain the image of the heavenly man and we should be as those who have been made to wear the golden crown in the head.  If  in our live, we want to possess the blessings of goodness, we must forsake all the things that do not please God, throw them away and receive holiness and we must grow in it and worship God everyday (offer sacrifice) and come to him, then we will be able be as those who have eternal blessings. Also, we will be in fellowship with God and there is no change in that.

We can read that God gave Aaron and his sons the ministry of priesthood. But now our priest and high priest is our Lord Jesus Christ, and this is made clear to us by the word of God. After our Lord Jesus Christ became the priest, the high priest we see that he is changing us into royal priesthood.

That is why, in 1 Peter 2: 9, 10 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light; 

who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

My dear people, from this what we come to know is that for God to do his work from within us, he brings us who were in darkness into the light and puts on the garment for us and feeds us daily with his manna and grows our soul everyday spiritually and dwells within us and he does his work  and he is the God that shows us mercy.

Exodus 29: 1 – 9 “And this is what you shall do to them to hallow them for ministering to Me as priests: Take one young bull and two rams without blemish, 

and unleavened bread, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil (you shall make them of wheat flour). 

You shall put them in one basket and bring them in the basket, with the bull and the two rams.

“And Aaron and his sons you shall bring to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and you shall wash them with water. 

Then you shall take the garments, put the tunic on Aaron, and the robe of the ephod, the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the intricately woven band of the ephod. 

You shall put the turban on his head, and put the holy crown on the turban. 

And you shall take the anointing oil, pour it on his head, and anoint him. 

Then you shall bring his sons and put tunics on them. 

And you shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and put the hats on them. The priesthood shall be theirs for a perpetual statute. So you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

My dear people, the above-mentioned verses what God is telling for Aaron and his sons, is to show us how we and our soul should humble ourselves and submit ourselves to God and if we will submit ourselves according to the will of God then God will pour his anointing of the spirit within us and will consecrate us for his work.

We should leave all our old traditional sinful habits and offer the sacrifices of our lips, which is praise offerings through Christ to God and be as those who have accepted the unleavened bread, who is our Lord Jesus Christ and unleavened wafers anointed with oil (you shall make them of wheat flour) means through our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the grain of wheat, the new commandments which he has taught, that we may be filled through his anointed word of God and these along with our body, which is the basket come to the presence of God filled with the sound of praise and offer praise to God, also cleansing ourselves with his word and possessing our salvation and receiving strength in our inner man and leaning on the truth and as those who have received gifts, having received turban and golden crown in our head and for us to be filled with the anointing of God only, God has given us the eternal law and is showing Aaron and his sons as a pattern. In this manner, let us submit ourselves to God so that we will receive the power of salvation and live.
