“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Romans 9: 4 Who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

Who is an Israelite? An Explanation

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past day, we meditated regarding we are his people, and he is our God. But we will think that we are worshipping God only and we think that we are his people only. But God has not told that everyone are his people. Whom he said is that – those who draw to Him with a true heart and complete surety he is saying that they are his people. Who has received the eligibility to be God’s people are those who cleanse themselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, leaving all the old traditional sinful customs and traditions and those who come out and are separated from the traditional people and do not touch what is unclean, he says they are his sons and daughters.

Also, Ezekiel 11: 19 – 21 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,

that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

But as for those whose hearts follow the desire for their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord God.

Also, each one of us must know who God’s people are. If we will walk in the way our mind goes and if we will walk in the lusts of our heart no one can say that I am God’s people. Each one of us must analyze and know themselves well.

Each one of us must destroy the works of flesh. This is because it is written that only those who are being led by the spirit of God are the sons of God.

This is because in Romans 9: 6 – 13 But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel,

nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.”

That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.

For this is the word of promise: “At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son.”

And not only this, but when Rebecca also had conceived by one man, even by our father Isaac

(for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls),

it was said to her, “The older shall serve the younger.”

As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”

My dear people, when we meditate on these verses Romans 9: 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not!

That is, we can understand that our God is a God that hates the deeds of the flesh but not a person who hates the people.

That is, we can read an example that God is telling in Hosea 1: 2 – 4 When the Lord began to speak by Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea: “Go, take yourself a wife of harlotry And children of harlotry, For the land has committed great harlotry By departing from the Lord.”

So, he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.

Then the Lord said to him: “Call his name Jezreel, for in a little while I will avenge the bloodshed of Jezreel on the house of Jehu and bring an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.

It shall come to pass in that day that I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel.”

The reason why it is written that for they are not all Israel who are of Israel is because Ahab, the king of Israel and his wife Jezebel were the reason for the shedding of the blood of Naboth the Jezreelite. Therefore, God made the dogs eat them by the wall of Jezreel. In this manner, he is telling the prophet Hosea how he brought an end to the kingdom of Israel.

Next, secondly Gomer conceived and bore a daughter and called her name as God told him as Lo-Ruhamah. He said for I will no longer have mercy on the house of Israel, but I will utterly take them away.

Hosea 1: 7 Yet I will have mercy on the house of Judah will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword or battle, by horses or horsemen.”

Then, she conceived a third time and bore a son and when he was named as Lo-Ammi, God said for you are not My people and in reply in Hosea 1 : 10 “Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ There it shall be said to them, ‘You are sons of the living God.’

From this what we understand is that when we say daughter – they are those who are weak in faith in our soul and those who live in the flesh and those who do not walk according to the spirit.

But when we say sons, son – it is the complete grace in our soul, becoming firm in faith and abiding in it and not only that but those who have completely changed the thoughts of the flesh, those who are walking according to the spirit and also those who have not lost their birth right.  They are the Israelites.

My dear people, let us submit ourselves to be as Israelites and to be as people according to the Spirit.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
