Finding out our mistakes and submitting in the presence of God

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated regarding how God walks in our midst and how he sends his word, which is the fire and tests our soul and then sees and knows the mistakes that we have in us and analyses and knows in which thing our soul has fallen and realize where our heart went afar from the fellowship that we had in the days that we took a covenant with God and we should repent again and should draw near to God and regarding this God is saying that you have left your first love therefore remember therefore from where you have fallen; and if you will repent again, I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.

Next what we are going to meditate is that secondly to the church of Smyrna what God is telling us is that those who say they are Jews but are not Jews but are a synagogue of Satan and they are blaspheming us and regarding this God is saying: There are sufferings but do not fear, if we are faithful God is giving us the crown of life. If we want to receive the crown of life only if we bear all the tribulations it is possible. If we remain in this manner, we will not be hurt by the second death. Thirdly God is telling the church of Pergamos though we may be faithful in many things, if there are few mistakes in us without our knowledge regarding that, what God says is that I have a few things against you, if we eat what is sacrificed to idols and if we hold on to the doctrine of Balaam, these are that we are doing iniquity against God. In the same way he is saying that the doctrine of the Nicolaitans is in us. But if we will leave such kind of deeds and if we will truly obey God  and if we will listen to his voice he will give us the hidden manna to eat and he gives us a white stone and a new name. Regarding this

Revelation 2: 17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”’

To the fourth church in Thyatira God is telling that God who has tested our deeds he is saying that the last deeds are more than the first and he knows it.

Revelation 2: 19 – 23 “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. 

Nevertheless, I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 

And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. 

Indeed, I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. 

I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

A life that lifts itself, in our spiritual experience a proud thought that exalts ourselves; even if God gives us few gifts of grace also if God listens to the prayer that we  pray and if we get a blessed reply for that and also if God reveals certain things to us, the devil enters within us immediately and will come and put pride. Therefore, we must safeguard ourselves so that pride does not come. If pride comes, we must think that the deeds of the harlot are within us. That is, Ahab’s wife Jezebel was the reason for killing Naboth. Her decoration was that Jezebel put paint on her eyes and adorned her head and we can read that she works against God by wanting to make his vineyard into a vegetable garden. When we meditate on this, in these days many children of God decorate themselves. God does not desire that kind of decoration. Those who decorate in this manner do not prevail over the gates of hell and we come to know that. Therefore, God’s word says

Matthew 5: 3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The first teaching of the teaching of our Lord Christ was on the mountain. Therefore, for God to destroy the deeds of Jezebel he is using Jehu to destroy Jezebel.

2 Kings 9: 33 – 37 Then he said, “Throw her down.” So they threw her down, and some of her blood spattered on the wall and on the horses; and he trampled her underfoot. 

And when he had gone in, he ate and drank. Then he said, “Go now, see to this accursed woman, and bury her, for she was a king’s daughter.” 

So, they went to bury her, but they found no more of her than the skull and the feet and the palms of her hands. 

Therefore, they came back and told him. And he said, “This is the word of the Lord, which He spoke by His servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, ‘On the plot of ground at Jezreel dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel; 

and the corpse of Jezebel shall be as refuse on the surface of the field, in the plot at Jezreel, so that they shall not say, “Here lies Jezebel.”’”

My dear people, for us to leave the deeds of Jezebel and repent God is telling us. If we will repent in this manner and also, he is telling us to hold on to the grace, which is the blessing that God has given us till he comes. If we will walk truthfully in this manner

Revelation 2: 28 and I will give him the morning star.

If we will walk according to what is mentioned above God will bless us. The fifth church is Sardis. Regarding this church what God is telling is that God who has tested all our inner deeds

Revelation 3: 2, 3 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. 

Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore, if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.

What God is saying is that we who have heard all the above-mentioned words should remember those words and in order to walk according to them we should follow them, repent and we must correct ourselves. If our soul does not be watchful in this manner with life God is telling that he will come upon you as a thief and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. Therefore, because we do not know the time that our Lord Jesus Christ comes in our soul our garment should always be holy. That is, we must safeguard God’s laws, commandments, and precepts correctly. Regarding this

Revelation 3: 4, 5 You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. 

He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

My dear people, from this what we must know is that if we do not obey God our garment (salvation) will become dirty. We will be without salvation. That is, our Lord Jesus Christ will blot out our name from the Book of Life and we come to know that he will not confess our name before the Father. In the five churches that we saw till now God is showing the fruit of our soul. We see that our Lord Jesus Christ is saying that in this we must not have less and must receive everything. Therefore, let us all submit ourselves to receive the above-mentioned blessings.
