“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Proverbs 9: 1 Wisdom has built her house, she has hewn out her seven pillars;
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
Finding out our mistakes and submitting in the presence of God – Part 2
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated regarding the bride, the church’s soul’s fruits, which are the five blessings. But our Lord Jesus Christ is telling about seven lampstands, which are the seven churches. Next the sixth church is Philadelphia. Regarding this church God is telling
Revelation 3: 8 – 12 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, Christ is watching all our deeds and is telling I know your works. If God gives us little strength through Christ surely our soul will be happy. In this way our soul will attain joy and peace. If that is the case, then we will follow the word of God. Then see, I have set before you an open door and we see that our Lord Jesus Christ is telling that no one can shut it.
What this means is that with the strength of faith that we have if we accept the word of God our Lord Jesus Christ, the word of God which is Christ intercedes for us. No one can do anything to it says God.
Regarding that, Judges 6: 14 Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?”
God to deliver the Israelites from the hands of the Midianites he is raising up Gideon. Then the Lord turned to him and said, go in this might of yours and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. He said have I not sent you. For that Gideon says I am the least in my father’s house.
Judges 6: 16 And the Lord said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man.”
In this manner, Gideon went with the little might that God had given him. God was with him. In this manner, we must make the faith that God gives us firm. If we will make it firm in this way when such kind of faith grows within us and is established, in this the deeds of Christ are manifested. The above-mentioned verses are manifested in our soul. Regarding them Christ is telling that Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
Next what our Lord Jesus Christ is saying is that the seventh church is Laodiceans. God who tested them Revelation 3: 15, 16 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
He sees the lack of growth in our soul, neither cold nor hot therefore I will vomit you out of my mouth. This is because from the time we receive our Lord Jesus Christ those who do not have any change, regarding them God is saying in our life there will be no rest within the soul. Those who are without any growth in this manner God is saying that I will vomit you out of my mouth. This is because they will not know that they are not growing. They will think that they are living correctly. Regarding them God is saying
Revelation 3: 17 – 19 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—
I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore, be zealous and repent.
Therefore, he is telling that we must be zealous with such kind of people and repent. So, my dear people, let us all receive the seven types of blessings and let us submit ourselves to grow.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
