Spiritual ministry Glorious ministry
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, God is pleased when we change as a glorious bride, the church, receive new strength and live a holy life and safeguard the truth and worship God. When we meditate upon the word of God, we read that God called Moses on Mount Sinai. But God did not call Aaron or the sons of Israel. The reason for that is because the others did not have a holy life like Moses, therefore God did not call anyone else. That is, without holiness no one can enter into the kingdom of God and to show this as a pattern only God called Moses only on Mount Sinai. Mount Sinai is our Lord Jesus Christ. Exodus 31: 18 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.
We see that he is writing with his finger and giving him. In the portion of the Old Testament, writing on tablets of stone is if anyone believes only in the ministry of the Old Testament, it is a ministry leading to death and to show this as a pattern we see that God is writing on tablets of stone. This is because in God’s word, the apostle Paul in the epistle to the church of Corinthians 2 Corinthians 3: 3 – 11 clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
And we have such trust through Christ toward God.
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,
how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?
For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels.
For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses God writing the tablets of stone with his finger, our natural character, which are the deeds of the devil and those whose heart has become like stone, their soul will never be able to attain glory. Therefore, our Lord God changes our soul of heart into flesh and shows this as a pattern and we are able to see that he is writing testimonies with his finger. This is because God’s testimony is Christ. When we meditate on the Old Testament, it is written that if the ministry unto death which Moses did was filled with glory then how glorious the spiritual ministry would be. When we read the Old Testament, what we can see is that in the ministry that Moses did, Moses face shone with glory to the extent that the sons of Israel could not look at him.
In the same way, in the temple of God that God built using Solomon when the glory filled the place, the priests could not stand there. 2 Chronicles 5: 11- 14 And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without keeping to their divisions),
and the Levites who were the singers, all those of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, stood at the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals, stringed instruments and harps, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets—
indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: “For He is good, for His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud,
so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.
My dear people, in the temple that Solomon built many musical instruments also one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets when they stood and blew their trumpets and when they praised him saying the Lord’s mercy endures forever and the house, the house of the Lord was filled with a cloud.
In this manner, if such kind of glory will descend upon a house that will be destroyed, how much glory would there be in an unperishable house of glory. My dear people when we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, Christ overcame the ministry unto death in our soul and we see that he fulfils the spiritual ministry. In this manner we will meditate tomorrow regarding our Lord Jesus Christ, fulfilling the spiritual ministry in our soul. Let us also be filled in the Holy Spirit and worship God.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly
