“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
John 8: 51 Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.”
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
What should we do to know the will of the Father?
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days if God thinks about us only then in our journey of faith his presence will go before us. For him to go before us in this manner we must find grace in the eyes of God. To receive such kind of grace we must walk in his way. As we walk in his way, just like the way Christ walked we must do the will of the Father. Our Lord Jesus Christ is telling in John 14: 6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Therefore, only if we walk like how Jesus Christ walked and showed we are doing the will of the Father. Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. How we will do the will of the Father is that John 5: 19 – 24 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.
For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,
that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
From this what we know is that our Father has given all authority to the Son. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does in like manner. Otherwise we see that the Son does not do anything by himself alone. That is, our Lord Jesus Christ is saying in John 14: 12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
Whoever has seen me has seen my Father. Therefore, my dear people, the will of the Father means the deeds that Jesus are the deeds that the Father did. That is what, Jesus is saying believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
That is what in the portion of the Old Testament he makes the people of Israel make idols and sinned and God saw that they were naked unto death and he did not desire for them to be consumed and with the intention that their soul should live by Christ he told Moses, You take the people to the land that I had told you, I will send my Angel before you and we meditated how God is telling that regarding our Lord Christ. The meaning of this is what Jesus Christ is telling I and my Father are one. He is telling believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
When we meditate about this, by our Lord Jesus Christ to deliver us from our sin, death and these he is showing us this as a pattern. This is because if his presence does not go before us, we will run the race of faith but will not be able to receive the prize and we will lose it. Therefore, we must obey God in everything and be careful with fear and trembling. That is, in the book of prophet Isaiah God says “But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at My word.
Also, when we meditate Moses asks God for grace and receives it. Exodus 33: 18 – 23 And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.”
Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”
But He said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.”
And the Lord said, “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock.
So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by.
Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.”
When we meditate on this, Moses is asking God to show him his glory. For that God says that “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. But you shall not see my face. No man should stand before his glory. The reason is that he is greatly powerful.
He is fire. Isaiah 10: 17, 18 So the Light of Israel will be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame; It will burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day.
And it will consume the glory of his forest and of his fruitful field, both soul and body; And they will be as when a sick man wastes away.
And his favor is like a cloud of the latter rain. His favour means his truthful teachings.
Regarding this truthful teachings God is telling Moses “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. That rock is only Christ. He is telling Moses to stand on that rock. He is showing us this as a pattern that He is only Christ and he is the one who will show the truthful path. That is why only in the portion of the gospel of John Christ is saying believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me. That is why, Jesus Christ is telling in John 5: 23 – 25 that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.
If we listen to the voice of our Lord Jesus and obey, his grace will manifest on us. We will be filled with his glory, then we will live along with him. Let us submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly
