“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Hosea 14: 2 Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity; Receive us graciously, for we will offer the sacrifices of our lips.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
Offering sacrifices in the tabernacle, which is the bride, the church
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated regarding how we the bride, the church should walk so that we do not lose the glory and only if we walk in this manner God is leading us in this journey of faith in the shadow of his cloud with glory. In this manner, for us to be in fellowship with God the next thing that we are going to meditate upon is how we are going to worship God and this he is explaining and showing us with a pattern.
That is, in Leviticus 1: 1 – 3 Now the Lord called to Moses, and spoke to him from the tabernacle of meeting, saying,
“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When any one of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of the livestock—of the herd and of the flock.
‘If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord.
In these verses it is told regarding us offering sacrifices to the Lord. That is, you shall bring your offering of the livestock – of the herd and of the flock. Livestock of the herd and of the flock what God is saying is that every man’s soul will be filled with different different characters. In that good character, bad character these two are there. That is what is written as righteous and wicked. When we look in the world, whether it is many servants of God or believers, we are thinking that those believers who are told that they have taken the Bible all are good, upright and righteous. That is very wrong. When we look at a man his soul is deeper than the sea. No man can search and analyse anyone’s soul. The one person who searches and analyses is our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, we cannot give a verdict about anyone. This is because in Proverbs 24: 23 – 25 These things also belong to the wise: It is not good to show partiality in judgment.
He who says to the wicked, “You are righteous,” him the people will curse; Nations will abhor him.
But those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, and a good blessing will come upon them.
What God’s word is telling is that righteousness means Christ, unrighteousness means the devil, which is the world. In order to destroy the deeds of the devil the Son of God came to the world and God is showing this as a pattern and he is keeping the world in our soul and the world’s unrighteous deeds of the devil which is in our soul he sends the words of God, which is the Son of God into our soul, which is the world and burns it with the word of God, which is fire and revives our soul with the Spirit of resurrection and in this manner in each one of us he removes unrighteousness and makes the growth of righteousness to increase in our soul and to attain the good fruit according to it he gives us grace. Because our Lord Jesus Christ is righteous, he destroys the unrighteousness in us little by little by his word, which is the sword and changes us into righteous.
Regarding this, to the prophet Ezekiel our God to show as a pattern the prophecy he is saying is that Ezekiel 21: 1 – 5 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
“Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, preach against the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel;
and say to the land of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Behold, I am against you, and I will draw My sword out of its sheath and cut off both righteous and wicked from you.
Because I will cut off both righteous and wicked from you, therefore My sword shall go out of its sheath against all flesh from south to north,
that all flesh may know that I, the Lord, have drawn My sword out of its sheath; it shall not return anymore.”’
When we meditate upon these words, he is saying that I will cut off both righteous (uprightness) and wicked from you. God is doing these things within our soul. Wickedness means the thoughts of the world. Uprightness means one kind of wicked one which instigates to do wickedness. Therefore, God in a man’s soul is destroying both together with his sword. How he is doing that is that Ezekiel 21: 6, 7 Sigh therefore, son of man, with a breaking heart, and sigh with bitterness before their eyes.
And it shall be when they say to you, ‘Why are you sighing?’ that you shall answer, ‘Because of the news; when it comes, every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass,’ says the Lord God.”
When we meditate upon this if the sword of God is removed out from his sheath till it completes judging us it will not be put back into its sheath. It will be very difficult for us to tolerate it. Though it is there in this manner in many of our lives understanding does not come for us. We will not destroy the deeds of the flesh. The reason for that is the arrogance in our soul. Therefore, God is telling in Ezekiel 21: 8 – 13 Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
“Son of man, prophesy and say, ‘Thus says the Lord!’ Say: ‘A sword, a sword is sharpened and also polished!
Sharpened to make a dreadful slaughter, polished to flash like lightning! Should we then make mirth? It despises the scepter of My son, as it does all wood.
And He has given it to be polished, that it may be handled; This sword is sharpened, and it is polished to be given into the hand of the slayer.’
“Cry and wail, son of man; For it will be against My people, against all the princes of Israel. Terrors including the sword will be against My people; Therefore, strike your thigh.
“Because it is a testing, and what if the sword despises even the scepter? The scepter shall be no more,” says the Lord God.
Therefore, my dear people we must be careful that in our Christian life we should be without uprightness and wickedness. Also, Proverbs 28: 28 When the wicked arise, men hide themselves; But when they perish, the righteous increase. My dear people who are reading this, only if the unrighteous thoughts in our soul are destroyed the righteous deeds will keep increasing.
Also, when we meditate Ecclesiastes 8: 10 – 13 Then I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of holiness, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done. This also is vanity.
Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him.
But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.
When we meditate on the above-mentioned verses, for the holy place those whose name has been written for God, due to the reason that they did not change wickedness in their life quickly God forgot them in the city that they had lived and we see that it is written in word of God in Ecclesiastes.
Therefore, my dear people in the portion of the Bible that we are meditating in these days in our soul the above-mentioned uprightness and wickedness to say as a pattern only is the livestock—of the herd and of the flock. From these what God is saying is that we must select an animal and offer as an offering is that God is saying about our soul’s deeds. In a soul there are many people. They are animals, many types of birds their evil characters will be there. In order to destroy the evil ones among them we must listen to God’s voice and submit our soul and offer sacrifice. In this manner, to submit what God is showing as a pattern is from the livestock—of the herd and of the flock it is written that we must offer without blemish. In this way, let us submit for the wicked deeds to change.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly
