“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Matthew 25: 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
The bride, the church should not keep her desire on neighbour’s things
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in the holy place, which is the tabernacle if we, the bride, the church unknowingly cause loss of the holy things then for the same exact amount those who have been washed by the blood of the Lamb, according to how much strength of the soul we have received, we must offer all of that in the presence of God and for the sins that have come in our lives we must confess our sins again, renew ourselves and we must be washed and cleansed by the blood of Christ and according to the value of the cost of the things that they have destroyed we must offer as an offering to God one-fifth as a restitution and the reason why God is showing this as a pattern is that for those who are disregarding the grace that God has given he is making them to carry the iniquity on the head and we meditated that they must be renewed and cleansed again.
But today the thing that we are going to meditate upon is that Leviticus 6: 1 – 7 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
“If a person sins and commits a trespass against the Lord by lying to his neighbour about what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or about a pledge, or about a robbery, or if he has extorted from his neighbour,
or if he has found what was lost and lies concerning it, and swears falsely—in any one of these things that a man may do in which he sins:
then it shall be, because he has sinned and is guilty, that he shall restore what he has stolen, or the thing which he has extorted, or what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or the lost thing which he found,
or all that about which he has sworn falsely. He shall restore its full value, add one-fifth more to it, and give it to whomever it belongs, on the day of his trespass offering.
And he shall bring his trespass offering to the Lord, a ram without blemish from the flock, with your valuation, as a trespass offering, to the priest.
So, the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord, and he shall be forgiven for any one of these things that he may have done in which he trespasses.”
God is telling Moses to tell the people if a person commits a trespass against the Lord and if any neighbour has delivered anything to us for safekeeping or if he has extorted from his neighbour in giving and taking or about a robbery of a thing by force and in this manner if we give distress to our neighbour or if he has found what was lost and lies concerning it, and swears falsely—in any one of these things that a man may do in which he sins: then it shall be, because he has sinned and is guilty, that he shall restore what he has stolen, or the thing which he has extorted, or what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or the lost thing which he found, or all that about which he has sworn falsely. Not only that he shall restore its full value but also add one-fifth more to it, and when he realizes that what he has done is a sin, whomever it may be when he comes to confess his sin, he must give it to whomever it belongs.
Also, for the mistake that we have done, we must be washed and cleansed by the blood of Christ, we must confess our sins and if we ask for forgiveness, God will forgive. My dear people, knowingly or unknowingly all the sins, iniquities that we have done he sees everything carefully, judges us and he is the God who makes us proper.
Also, the reason why God is showing as a pattern in this manner is that Luke 16: 9 – 13 “And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home.
He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.
Therefore, if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?
“No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
When we meditate upon these verses, we must make friends for ourselves by unrighteous mammon. Also, when we are God’s children, we should not covet our neighbour’s things and that is the law of commandments. Also, we should not do any evil to our neighbour. We must always be as God’s witnesses in front of our neighbours. What our Lord Jesus Christ says is that only if we are faithful in the unrighteous worldly mammon, God will trust us and will hand over the true thing, which are the heavenly things. Heavenly things mean word of God, which is Christ’s eternal life.
Also, what Christ is saying is that if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own? Therefore, in whatever way we must never keep our desire on things belonging to others. If we do so, it is injustice that we are doing to God.
Therefore, my dear people who are reading this, if there is such kind of injustice in any of you, let us obey the commandments that God has given us and let us return it in the same way and once again let us offer our soul completely on the altar and cleanse ourselves with the blood of Christ and let us receive the forgiveness. Let us submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
